Smiths, Metallica, whatever, etc at least have songs about loneliness
and friendship and such, sometimes even in a more or less real life
approach, and not just sappy pop ooh baby ooh crap, but reasonable
stuff, even adjusting for varying tastes. Fag club goers live on inane
flat dancable pap crap, and fag punx have endless righteous anger and
hardness. Punx have one up on the disco bunnies cuz they admit to one
emotion, so they think they're superior. I'm tired of all doctrinaire
attitudes, the revolutionary rise up in anger stuff included. OK, so
then what? I'm as angry and self-concious and active as anyone. I will
not accept this shit and I demand more.
