at it, sigh, if you aren't aware of it. Falling rather quickly into¨
the hole of us-vs.-them-ism. How boring. So instead of arguing with¨
them, we joined them!

I'm not sure how context-dependent ENOUGH ROPE is, so I'll `splain it¨
to ya reglar. I hope you and Bill get it. (If you don't it's cuz of¨
the context in which it must exist\dots zine editors are so¨
incestuous\dots)

Deke and I worked very very hard at it. I think we did an {\it¨
exquisite} job. I can tell you it was painful. Oh not the Bill-bashing¨
silly, but the\dots packaging\dots I did most of the text, Deke the¨
layout and wonderfully horrid slogans. Aren't they very late-leftist?¨
I am quite proud of the blatant subtlety. We back-dated it to¨
somewhere in the middle of the start of BIMBOX's current career, and¨
then of course claim that they stole our ideas. It makes me cringe¨
just to think of it\dots

\dropcap{I}t's not that we felt Uncle Bill needed defending, or any¨
such nonsense, or that we were in some sort of position to do such a¨
thing, or anything along those lines. It was more wanting to deal with¨
the destructive P.C.~orthodoxy they're intentionally or otherwise¨
promoting. It is emotionally tempting to indulge in linear argument,¨
but we all know where that leads. So, we took the F\ae rie ``askance''¨
approach\dots far more amusing, no? Besides, it leaves them ``outs'',¨
as we never {\it directly} criticize them, etc. And of course we'll¨
deny everything up to the end. ``That piece of shit? Gimme a break!''

\dropcap{P}lease don't let anyone know where you got it! Or at least,¨
