Gregg --

OK, so I'm late\dots{} what else is new!!!

Thanks for the games and {\tt DISKED}. I put {\tt NEWHACK} on the
house computer, and will let people here know they're there\dots{}
TETRIS is popular, so once discovered I'm sure it'll get played a
lot!

Enclosed is a copy of my Norton 5.0 diskettes. I actually bought them,
amazingly enough. There's probably a newer version, but these work
great. INSTALL from the first diskette.

I didn't have enough 5.25" diskettes, else I'd have sent you DOS 5.0.
If you'll mail me some I'll copy them all. It's definitely worth the
bother of upgrading, as it comes with better programs and fixes bugs I
thought were in other programs!

4DOS is a {\tt COMMAND.COM} replacement that does an amazing amount
of stuff. It's as good as any unix shell, and easier to use.

{\tt AUTOMAP} is an electronic road atlas. It's really good, it calcs
routes and all that crap. It really likes horsepower, it'll run on a
4.77MHz 8088, but very slowly\dots{} it is very comfortable on a 386.

The last diskette contains various files. RM is my FidoNet offline
mail reader, with sources. FidoTerm is a comm.~program that does
ZMODEM, etc. I'm out of printed manuals, but there's a big PRN file.
{\tt SPINRITE} will fix bad hard disks, I swear. It's a recent
version. Use the {\bf Start analysis} selection once you get through
all the initial testing stuff. (Run Norton SpeedDisk occasionally on
your hard disk and it'll defrag and speed things up.)

Well, better late than never. Now let's see how many days it takes me
to get to UPS\dots!

\bye
