Subject: NACRs
Status: OR

I think that I've got things straightened out a bit with Sprint. Getting them
to advertise your network is only half the job. We also need to get the NSFNET
to accept routes to/from your networks. This is done by submitting a NACR
(Network Announcement Change Request). You will have to fill out one and then
submit it.

The necessary info is in `ftp.cygnus.com:/pub/tlg/'. The file
`help.template.net.tlg' should describe the whole process. I just cobbled that
together from the ANS document. Comments/suggestions welcome. If you have any
questions, just send me mail. You can also reach me at home today
(415)-346-5236.

Tom, Tim and Matthew, please send this info on to anybody who has been added
recently (last two weeks or so?), and isn't being routed by the NSFNET. An
easy way to check this is to examine net-comp.now.gz in the aforementioned ftp
directory.
