Tom,

It's me again, asking you for an update on the relevant TLG-TIS issues:
 - collection of back-payments from Hoover, et al
 - plan for payment of October fees from Cygnus, Hoover, et al
 - proposal for paying something for November
 - date when PA-TIS-Cygnus connection is no longer needed

Again, sorry bug when you when things are very busy for you,
but I am rather on the hook for the $$ issues, to the point
where it is a bit awkward to be saying that we are still
providing you with some service, even though we expected the
final financial arrangement to be done in October, and November
is fast passing. I hope you can appreciate the sentiment.

Even if you can't deal with this now, I'd at least ask for an ack
and a guess at when you will be able to deal.

Hoping everything else is cooking along well,

John Sebes

Yes, I feel it too. Here's where I am. I've collected *all* of it,
including Oct93, except for Kenton Hoover's $980. That should be
forthcoming. Sigh.

For November: it seems reasonable for us to pay TIS a pro-rated
fraction of the previous monthly billing. I'll check with Stu
Grossman for the exact switch over date, but I believe it's 7 Nov.
That will be (assuming) 7/31ths of $325. (I think that's $325, I'll
check or you can correct me.)

Palo Alto is still conected of course. (Order is in for the leased
line move; I don't have the date here.) The traffic is low, compared
to the overall Cygnus/TLG T1 traffic was. Is it acceptable for
Nov93 billing purposes to consider P.A. a 56K load on TIS/Alternet,
with a value of $300 per month, and prorate that for whatever
portion of Nov it ends up being? If so, I propose to pay TIS:

Assuming 7 Nov was the day TLG switched over to sprint,

and X is the day we pull the plug on 814 University,

TIS gets X - 7
	       ------ * $300
                 31

(Up through the 7th it seems fair to consider it all as before the
switchover, unchanged.) If you have other ideas, fire away!

If you would like, I'll write TIS a check for: all outstanding bills,
excluding Kenton's 980, and including the Oct93 bills from everyone, and
including Cygnus' prorated share through 7 Nov. I will mail that Monday
(I leave first thing Friday AM and return early eve). And when we
complete the PA disconnect, pay TIS for the outstanding amount (TBD) and
Kentons outstanding 980.

Who should I make the check out to?

I *will* get you the $980, this month. It's too bad it went so long
uncollected, as it has apparently built up to a signifigant sum,
hence the delay.
