TLG doesn't fund new POPs directly; we rely on members installing service at their own expense, of adequate size (56K up), and if mutually beneficial, arrange to install TLG equipment at the members site, with which to connect new TLG members, and in exchange, pick up leased line costs and discount the basic service charge. TLG is a buyers club, and not an ordinary profit-making business; we cannot afford to subsidize network services. Thanks for asking. Consider pooling your resources with other people in your area you split the startup cost of a new POP; 56K service will cost you approximately $6000 to start.
